I’m attending a champagne tasting today and needed to bring something tasty and visual, Try this with any type seasonal fruit.
fruit cheese crackers platter
This tray has; butter crackers, fresh figs, red grapes and four types of cheese. I didn’t have any garnish available but fig bush leaves would be perfect.
For most of the US winter is a tough time to get fresh home grown produce. This Winter Salad is my attempt to give you a little inspiration !
Winter salad
Ingredients;
1 pint small grape tomatoes, any variety
1/2 cup assorted Italian pitted olives , Partanna fron Italy makes an assortment in a jar

1/3 cup gorgonzola Italian cheese or any blue cheese such as English Stilton, cut into small cubes
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, I like Partanna, Sicily

Directions;
Mix all together and serve at room temperature.
Any of these ingredients can be increased or decreased according to your taste.
